The Hotel is situated in the centre of the calm and verdant landscape of Olympia. Olympia is a sanctuary of ancient Greece in Elis. Both games were held every Olympiad; the Olympic Games dating back possibly further than 776 BC. The town has a train station and is the easternmost terminus of the line of Olympia-Pyrgos (Ilia).
