The Elms is a AAA rated four and half star heritage property.It is one of Hobart's grandest and most famous old mansions recorded on the Register of the National Estate.The Elms is one of a number of Hobart's landmark buildings. It is entered in the Register of the National Estate as an outstanding example of a large house of World War One vintage.This lovely old mansion is centrally located 1.2 km from the CBD and 500 meters walk from the famous North Hobart "Gourmet Strip" which houses many of Hobart's better known eating establishments. Some twenty restaurants and cafe are within 5 minutes walking distance.Sorry our property is not suitable for children under 7 years old.This property is a smoke free property but have a designated area outside the property for smokers. Delightful gardens are a feature of the large property and a favourite place guests to relax in the shade of the lovely old trees.Enjoy breakfast between 8am 9.30am with a relaxing atmosphere in our Dining Room with an outlook onto our beautiful English garden and the Derwent river.The Guests Lounge is a wonderful place to relax and share experiences with other travellers over a complimentary or sherry or a wine from our honesty cellar.
