We do have also experience one of the longest camel caravan in the world. Meetings with the salt workers, and witness how they work, Lake Asale, the salt pillars and the salt mountains. The drive down to the region is very magnificent and descends for about 2,560 meters in 3.5 hours from Mekalle. the tour to Dallol and ErtAle is not for everyone but only for those who are adventurous and fit people. And slo for those who are looking for news attractions.
