No experience is necessary to join this professionally guided kayak trip. Bowman Bay is the perfect place for beginners to feel comfortable paddling on the sea. It offers beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife to seek out. Although this trip is conducted in Deception Pass State Park we avoid the turbulent water near the bridge which is more suitable for expert kayakers. If you plan to visit Deception Pass State Park then don't miss this wonderful opportunity to see it from the unique perspective of a sea kayak!

During the busiest days we often run full. In the unlikely event that your preferred trip is already full then we will definitely get you out on a trip leaving at a similar time. Logistics Instructions

Start location : Drive down Bowman Bay Road to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Take a left. As you enter the large parking area you will notice our kayak shed under the trees on the East side of the parking lot. Park where you like and come meet us!

Special Instructions :
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Waivers must be filled out and signed before participation.
Bring water-compatible shoes, and dress for the weather. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
