The famous tank museum in Kubinka has become part of a huge ‘military-patriotic’ park called ‘Patriot’ and is now humbly called 'technical centre'. Most of the German tanks and heavy Soviet vehicles have been relocated to the Patriot. The museum has been seriously refurbished. And the thing is that the two sites are situated 10km from each other. To see the whole collection of the armoured vehicles you’ll have to visit both of them and buy two separate tickets (R400 and R350 respectively, not included). A private day tour to Kubinka Tank Museum and the Patriot Park will let you visit both sites avoiding the hassle of getting there and around. I am neither a licensed guide nor a tank enthusiast but like most men I love military hardware and will gladly translate all the information you might need. Explore everything at your own pace without rush, the schedule is totally flexible! My vehicle is a Subaru Outback suitable for up to 4 persons.
