With, here's your chance to tour the Himalayan Kingdom, to feel it in your spirit, and pen it down in vivid technicolour. Perhaps you are concerned about technique? Where to begin, who’s my teacher? Would there still be time to explore the raw beauty of Bhutan? Your teacher: the soft-spoken Rajesh Gurung. His roots as the co-founder of VAST (Voluntary Artists Studio of Thimphu) sets the perfect foundation to teach, since the non-profit organisation was set up in 1998 by professional artists seeking out Bhutanese youths who demonstrated interest in the arts, and to then steer them towards their potential talents in exploring art as a career.
