In essence, seeing Phnom Penh from the comfort of a cyclo is experiencing how the Cambodian capital lives, breaths, and moves on. The humble bicycle rickshaw known locally as the ‘cyclo’ can be a romantic means of transport but also a convenient one, especially for the tourist to discover Phnom Penh City. These pedal-powered three-wheelers still ply the streets as in colonial days and provide an excellent opportunity for sightseeing and people watching as well as the taxi service. The fun commences once stepping on board to allow diligent peddlers show the ins and outs of their home in a slow, yet elaborative way in the open-air.

• To allow entrance into the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, visitors are obliged to uphold a very strict dress code to respect these royal premises. It is essential that you dress modestly and appropriately during this excursion by wearing clothes that cover shoulders and fall below the knees.
