Shiogama is a port town that can be reached in 30 minutes by train from Sendai St. The historic port town is known as a paradise for Japanese foods. The first spot to visit is the fish market. You can buy fresh seafood, make Donburi, which is a Japanese bowl with rice, and of course, can eat it! What would you prefer to put on the rice bowl? Your tour guide will help you to negotiate with the store! After eating the seafood bowl, you will next visit a facility where you can learn about tuna and Shiogama Port. There are many long-established soy sauce and sake shops in Shiogama. Let's enjoy the traditional atmosphere at those stores and taste various soy sauces and sake!
