This tour is the best way for cruise passengers to experience Berlin! You will be picked up directly at the port (either Rostock or Warnemünde), drive to Berlin for a 5.5 hour tour, covering the highlights of former East and West Berlin, while learning the fascinating history of this one-of-a-kind capital city. Your tour group will have up to 26 people on it, and the transfer to/from Berlin may have more.

• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• At time of booking, cruise ship passengers MUST provide the following information at time of booking: ship name and sailing date (the day your cruise starts).
• Berlin is still largely cash only! Restaurants and stores (including most souvenir stores) in Germany will ONLY accept cash (EUR). They will not accept foreign currency, and they will not accept credit cards, maybe not even debit cards. To pay for lunch, you must have cash EUR. Sometime before the lunch break, the tour guide will show you to an ATM where you can get EUR.
• BATHROOMS: Virtually all public restrooms in Germany will require a 0.50€ coin to use. Please bring some with you.
• Itinerary is approximate! While we will try and visit everything, traffic conditions, local events, and crowds can sometimes prevent some sights from being visited. The order in which sights are visited may be adjusted for optimal visitor experience.
• For your own comfort, please consider bringing comfortable shoes, bottled water and some snacks for the long day.
• If the weather forecasts predict rain, please bring an umbrella.
• If a wheelchair-user decides to participate they must be accompanied by an able-bodied person to assist in boarding/disembarking the vehicle, and entering the restrooms, restaurant, and all sites. At certain locations a wheelchair user may not be able to exit the bus, and may have to stay inside of the bus.

Start location : IMPORTANT: The exact tour starting time will be emailed to you through the Viator messaging system. The start time is usually 30 minutes after ship arrival. Please disregard the departure time printed on the voucher. Please be punctual and meet outside of the ship 30 minutes prior to the tour's commencement time (in most cases, this means disembarking the ship as soon as possible). You will meet our greeter and/or driver right off the ship holding our orange SPB Tours sign, right after you pass through the immigration check. If you do not see the greeter or driver immediately, do not be alarmed. It can be that s/he is escorting passengers to the bus; s/he will be back shortly. You may be traveling to Berlin with other SPB-Tours clients and we want everyone to have as much time in Berlin as possible. Out of consideration for the others, the driver will not wait after the scheduled departure time to begin the journey down to Berlin. The last thing we want is for anyone to miss their tour.
