Japanese culture specialist Mr.JAPAN will accompany you in a typical visit at the sanctuary (“jinja”) explaining manners, rituals and curiosities.
How to purify yourself before going to greet the god, which is the right way to do an offering and how many times you have to bow in front of the main shrine, are only a few things you will learn in this workshop.
Also, we will try to put into practice what we have learned and, at the end, we participate in a live ceremony by a real Shintō priest, the most ancient Japanese religion.
