2020-2021 Plimoth Plantation commemorates the historic events of America's founding story, the arrival of the Pilgrims in 1620 the return of Mayflower (a gift from England in 1957 to the U.S. for their help in WWII) the Mayflower Compact a founding document of the U.S. Constitution New England’s Plymouth Colony the history & relationship with the Wampanoag people who have lived here for 12,000 years and the First Thanksgiving. A visit to Plimoth is a unique opportunity to experience history first-hand through the stories and demonstrations of the Indigenous people and the Pilgrim interpreters. Located south of Boston the Museum features three outdoor exhibits: Plimoth Plantation (Wampanoag Homesite, 17th-Century English Village, Henry Hornblower Visitor Center, Plentiful Cafe and retail stores); Mayflower, and the Plimoth Grist Mill, all within a short drive from one another in the quintessential, ocean-side community of Plymouth, Massachusetts.
