The historic art deco building has been thoroughly renovated into a comfortable hotel. Giving the Diamond House, the beautiful 1930s head quarters of jewellery giant, American Swiss, a total revamp was an easy thing to do. Creativity, style, luxury and comfort came in abundance with this glorious grand old day. In addition to the 60 guest rooms, the hotel features a lobby with safe, a café, restaurant, conference facilities, room service and a laundry service, while those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park (fees apply).

The hotel is centrally situated in the heart of Cape Town's historical heritage, surrounded by some of the 'Mother City's' architectural and historical gems and close to all amenities.

The restaurant is called Patat and offers a mixture of Malay, Dutch and Portuguese cuisine. Breakfast is also served in this ground floor restaurant, which is also a popular cafe with guests and locals. It is a vibrant and colourful, modern restaurant with plenty of seating and there is a bar at its centre.
